A fantasy pincushion created from hand dyed silk velvet and dupion silk. The luxurious silken blackberry acts as the pincushion. One component of the blackberry, indicated by the position of the butterfly contains a ball of emery powder to keep your pins and needles sharp.

Hand dyed guipure lace leaves adorn the blackberry stalk and the gilded butterfly charm adorns the fruit.

Size of finished project - approx. 18cm in length x 15cm high
